High energy Garage/Psychobilly duo from South Africa, The Dyna Jets, release their second EP entitled "The Calling" on Mandinga Records. The band draws influence from early Rockabilly as well as later revivals like Tav Falco and The Cramps. Link Wray has also been a huge influence on the band. A hint of Alan Vega’s Suicide can be heard in The Calling single too, with wild vocals drowned in reverb and slapback delay giving a similar haunting effect.
